Wetherby U3A was formed in 2010 and now has well over 500 members. It offers its growing membership a range of over 50 different activities ranging from calligraphy and computers to languages, genealogy, visiting historic buildings, cycling, digital cameras, painting, birdwatching and more.

In conjunction with the Tithe Map Project Team the Footpath Group created a 2 mile walk around Wetherby which was included in the 2009 Wetherby Festival. Details of the walk, including interesting local historical information, can be downloaded by clicking here
