KNARESBOROUGH HAY-A-PARK 14 Jan 2012

Time to move on from the more humorous (well, I think so) picture intros of Xmas, if only ‘cos I’ve exhausted my brain cells for the moment. So, this Saturday morning, following what I’m sure was the coldest night of the winter, 24 of us lined up outside the fish and chip shop at Hay A Park. (Why is it called that?). This is one of our more regular walks, sometimes a bit muddy in winter, but the overnight frost kept the worst of that away. We also had an encounter with a reluctant horse - this has happened once or twice recently - and I think perhaps that we should start charging for our “counselling” services, or whatever they might be called.

This walk was led by Harry, who, despite his comments at the start, didn’t get us lost. Pictures by Jill, Chris & yours truly.
