NEW YEAR WALK: WETHERBY to COLLINGHAM 2 Jan 2012

Xmas was busy but, fortunately, relatively uneventful for Santa. The only tricky moment was the flight over North Korea (no deliveries there, needless to say) when he momentarily forgot to switch to stealth mode. Didn’t get the reaction he was expecting though. A lot of weeping and wailing going on down below for some reason......

It’s a little known fact however that immediately after Xmas the elves get a days outing. Lots of fresh air, that sort of thing, after being cooped up for most of the festive season. So it came to pass that 19 elves gathered in the Riverside Car Park (some more incognito than others!) for a brisk walk to Collingham and back. Chief elf Barbara took the lead, with a slightly changed course to that originally planned, owing to the heavy rains experienced over recent days.

After all, elf  ’n safety is paramount these days..................................................
